Willie Hudson

Willie Hudson, born on July 22, 1940, to the late Charlie and Betty Hudson, passed away on October 22, 2024. A native of Starke, FL, Willie received his formal education at Bradford High School.

On February 9, 1963, in New Orleans, LA, Willie married the love of his life, Margaret Johnson. Their marriage of over 62 years was blessed with one son, Derrick Hudson.

Willie's life was marked by love and devotion to his family and the simple pleasures that brought him joy. In his leisure, he found contentment in caring for his yard and spending time watching television.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Margaret Hudson; his son, Derrick Hudson; his siblings, Rudolph (Shirley) Hudson, Matthew (Shirley) Hudson, Corine Howard, and Barbara Jean (Irvin) Samuel; as well as a host of cousins and sorrowing friends who will deeply miss him.

Willie Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Roosevelt Hudson, E.C. Hudson, Clifford Hudson, Eugene Hudson, John Henry Hudson, Charlie Hudson, Jr., and his sisters Alice Harris and Flora Bell Harris.

Willie's steadfast love and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will endure through the lives of his family and friends.
