TONY MICHAEL BENNETT

Ocala, Florida - Mr. Tony Michael Bennett, 60, transition to be with his heavenly father on August 15, 2021 at Advent Health Hospital. Tony was a graduate of Hawthorne High School (Class of 1978). He enlisted in the United States Marines receiving an honorable discharge. Tony served a (19) year tenure with WCJB TV20 News, Gainesville, Florida as a Master Control Engineer. He was currently employed by the Florida Department of Correction.  

Those left to forever cherish the memories: (a devoted wife) Wanda Bennett, (children) Brandon(Cherlyne), Anthony, Jonathan(Shivonne), Christopher(Arnishia), Amber(Cary, pass away three day after ), Ashleigh, (9) grandchildren: Brandon Jr, Chelsia, Maliyah, Janiyah, Joshua, Malachi, Jaylah, Danielle and Alaina (sisters) Barbara Jackson, Charlotte Latson(Henry), Altamese Harley(Liston),Belinda Williams(Ronald), (brother) Elmore Ray Bennett Jr., a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and sorrowing friends.

A life celebration will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at College Road Baptist Church, 5010 S.W. College Road, Ocala, Florida.

Mr. Bennett will lie in repose from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at CRBC.

There will be no public visitation on Friday.  

Covid -19 restrictions will be enforced. Everyone must wear a mask.
