Thomas Godwin, affectionately known as "Tommy Lee," was born on October 1, 1948. He lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and a love for family that will never be for-gotten.
Thomas received his formal education in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he proudly graduated from West Palm High School. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Savior at House of Prayer, where his faith became a guiding force throughout his life.
On August 11, 2005, Thomas was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Betty Vernon, in Ocala, Florida. Their union was blessed with six children, and together they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family.
Thomas was a hardworking man who devoted over 30 years of his life as a truck driver. He took pride in his work and the many miles he traveled. In his leisure time, he enjoyed what he knew best-driving trucks and telling stories that brought laughter and connection to those around him.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Betty Godwin; and his children, Carlos Godwin, Regina Evans, Mitzi Mills, Nartisha Vernon and Jovan Mosley. He is also survived by his brother, Milton Godwin, and his siste Thedna Godwin.

Though he is no longer with us in presence, his legacy of love, strength, and storytelling will live on through all who knew and loved him.
