Sheri Willette Ellam

Sheri Willette Ellam was born on August 23, 1963 to Robert Patterson and the late Margret Mitchell .

Sheri Ellam received her formal education at Benjamin N. Cardozo High in Bayside, NY. She furthered her education at Central Florida Community College where she obtained her associate degree of science and her bachelor’s degree of science at Florida Southern College. Sheri completed her formal education at Webster University in Ocala, FL where she received a master’s degree in psychology.

Sheri was employed by The Marion County School Board as a teacher for 30 plus years.

In her leisure she enjoyed interacting, shopping, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

Sheri W. Ellam accepted Christ as her savior at an early age.

Sheri W. Patterson was united in holy matrimony with the late Jesse L. Ellam on June 23, 2006 in Ocala, FL. Their union was blessed with 2 children.

Sheri Willette Ellam departed this life on February 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by (husband) Jesse L. Ellam, (mother) Margret Mitchell and (sister) Edie Mack.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: (children) Eugene Mitchell, Jr., Octavia Mitchell, Tamar Mitchell and Tyrique Mitchell, (grandchildren) Traivon Plummer, Lyndun Thomas, Ezekiel Mitchell and Cree Munnerlyn, (father) Robert Patterson, (nieces) Desiree Mack and Brenda Mack, (nephew) Darnell Mack, Kelly Mack and Donnie Mack, (godchildren) Kyesha Harrell and Tristan Harrell, a host of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
