Sergio Santiago

Sergio Santiago came into the world on September 13, 1977, in Gainesville, Florida. He was born to his loving mother, Betty Nelson, and was preceded in death by his father, Freddie McFadden Sr. Sergio was also guided and mentored by Bennie Mosley and Diamond Frantz, who both played meaningful roles in his life

Sergio received his education in the Marion County School System and proudly graduated from Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida. He was known for his vibrant personality, being full of life, and his love for competing in pageantsomething that brought him joy and allowed his confidence and charisma to shine.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved children: Kiala Santi, Kimora Santi, T'Andre Santi, Jaye Santi, Sinclair Santi, Gabbi Santi, Nicole Wilson, and Krystal Cassadine. Sergio is also survived by his brothers: Alton Nelson, Sammy Stinson, Aureleis Nelson, Freddie McFadden Jr. (Lashetha McFadden), and Frederick Hines; and his sisters: Latonya Stinson, Nancy Stinson (Ghost), Latasha McFadden (Nathaniel Washington), and Felisha Hines. He shared 14 beautiful years with his partner Dwayne Newton who stood by him though everything.

He also leaves a host of loving nieces and nephews: Kaili Mcduffie Tionnie Reynolds, Trevon Watkins, Tajai Louis, Frank Stinson, Avrietta Stinson, Edquinette Stinson, Rodkishi Stinson, Jamorie Stinson, and Katelyn Stinson. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Markishi Stinson.

Sergio shared a special lifelong bond with his best friend, Dr. Demetrick LeCorn, whose friendship remained constant throughout the years. Sergio will be remembered for his lively spirit, his love for family and friends, and the joy he brought into every room he entered. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
