Ruth “Ninee” Barron was born February 11, 1935, in Reddick, Fl to the late Georgia Hammond and Lee Harris.
Ruth received her formal education at MT. Zion Public School of Reddick, FL. Through the years, she was a dedicated homemaker.
Ruth accepted Christ as her savior at an earlier age and joined United Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a lay member in the Kingdom.
Ruth was united in holy matrimony with Millard Barron, Jr. in October of 1951. To this union they were blessed with 11 children.
Ruth was called to her eternal called home on February 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by (husband) Millard Barron, Jr., (children) Johnny Lee Barron, Marvin Barron and Freddie Barron, (grandson) Tony Gadson, (sisters) Winifred Harris and Dorothy Raglin, (brothers) Elsie Hammond, Jr. and Selevin Hammond.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (daughters) Georgia Lucas, Rose Gadson, Coraitte Barron, Barbara Hill (Willie), Darlene (Robert) Hilery and Sue Glover, (sons) Franklin Barron, Reginald (Angela) Barron and Millard Barron II, (brother) Ansel Hammond, (brothers-in-law) James (Gwendolyn) Owens, Alfonso Owens, and Lawrence (Sharon) Owens, 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
