ROSETTA MAE NEWTON
Ocala, Florida – Ms. Rosetta Maloise Newton, age 82, transitioned to be with her heavenly father on August 20, 2023 at Grace Davis Hall House (Hospice of Marion County). She was a graduate of Newberry High School. Rosetta enjoyed word search, reading and growing her rose garden.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Loving children (daughter) Demita Newton, Ocala, Florida, (sons) Prussian Newton, Tampa, Florida, Michael Newton, Sr. (Alisa), Ocala, Florida, (sisters) Audrey Crawford, Archer, Florida, Elizabeth Gibson, Brooklyn, NY, Ernestine Dorsey, Montgomery, AL, Diane Miller, Jamacia, NY, (brother) Ernest “Skipper”Newton, Jr., Jamacia, NY, ( grandchildren), Marty Williams, Jr., Brittany Newton, Michael Newton, Jr.,(8) great grandchild. Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents, (mother) Lucille Newton, (father) Ernest Newton, Sr., (siblings) Delorise Newton, DalphaneStewart and Altheria Newton.
A life celebration will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Tommy L. Brooks, Pastor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2023 from 2:00PM until 6:30PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home.
