OZIA LEAN BROWN
Ocala, Fl- Deaconess Ozia Lean Brown, 91, transitioned to be with her heavenly father on March 29, 2023 at John & Lucille Cates House. She attended Howard Academy. Mrs. Brown retired as a surgical technician at Munroe Memorial Hospital. Deaconess Brown served in leadership, hospitality and was a member of choir at New St. John MBC. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Queen of Sheba # 104).
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (children) Louise Green, Juanita Davis-Wayne 11(Melvin), Zola Stevenson, Agnes Green Boyd, Sherry A. Green, Reginald B. (Jannette) Green, Lauretta(Alphonso) Johnson,(23) grandchildren, (30) great grandchildren, (9) great-great grandchildren,(sisters) Barbara Townsend, Cynthia Wilcox, (brother) Jim(Mildred)Brown, GeralHoliday,(adopted family) Bernadatte, Bernard,Bridgette(Graham), Janette, James(Curley), Rev. Tommy L. Brooks(Mary), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and sorrowing church family.
A life celebration will be held 1:00PM on Saturday, April 08, 2023 at New St. John MBC, Dr. Tommy L. Brooks, Pastor.
Wake service will be held from 6:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, April 06, 2023 at New St. John MBC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 07, 2023 from 2:00PM until 7:00PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home. (352) 620-0573.
