Madell Dallas Obituary

Madell Dallas

Madell Dallas was born to the late John and Lucretia Biggs in the year of 1923 in York FL. The family then moved to Ocala Florida where Madell was educated in the public school system. As a young adult, Madell moved to Philadelphia, where she met and married the love of her life Roosevelt Dallas. Their union produced no physical children, but soon Madell became the spiritual mother of many, both in her North Philadelphia neighborhood, and her church, Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church. Madell was a lover Jesus and the arts, often attending gospel concerts, and plays. She was a devoted member of Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church serving on the Missionary Board and choirs. Madell will be sorely missed by her Sterner Street neighbors, Louise Williams Prayer Band and extended family and friends, which includes her faithful caretaker, Augusta Lynse. She leaves to mourn her Niece, Gloria Bryant, favorite Nephew, Neal Stinson, Niece Y'vonne Coleman, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
