Lenon White Obituary

Lenon Bernard White, affectionately known as Lenny, was born to the late Zachariah & Ruth Mae White in Sparr Florida on December 10, 1944. He received his formal education at Fessenden High School in Martin, Fl

Lenny Bernard White enlisted in the United States Army in August 1966 he was honorably discharged June 1969. 

Mr. White was employed at New York Transit Authority for 25 years as a bus driver. He later moved to Marion County and was employed through Marion County School system as a bus driver.

In his leisure he enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.

Lenny Bernard White was united in holy matrimony with 
Jeannette Samuels on May 1, 1972. Their union of fifty years was blessed with six children.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory (wife) 
Jeannette White, (children) Vernon Thompson, Michael Thompson, Charise Watson, Lenon B. White Jr.,Tedra Battle, Laretta Shorts, (siblings) Shirley Small, Ivory White, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. 

Lenon B. White transitioned to be with his heavenly father on October 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his 
parents, Zachariah White Jr, Walter White, Benny White, Willie White, Barbara Gross, Theodore White, 
Lillian Edwards, Ellen White.
