Kandyce Larie Gillum was born on November 18, 1959 to Dorothy Lee Gillum and Moze McHellon of Ocala, FL.
Kandyce L. Gillum received her formal education through the Marion County Public School System where she graduated from Vanguard High School in Ocala, FL..
Kandyce accepted Christ as her Savior at Shady Grove Baptist Church at a young age.
Kandyce was employed by A.P.I Manufacturing as a Supervisor for 11 years before retiring. Kandyce was known for her strong work ethic, caring spirit, and dedication to both her career and family.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed singing and dancing with her family and spending time looking through old family photos, sharing memories and stories that brought joy to everyone around her.
Kandyce was a loving mother, devoted family member, and cherished friend whose kindness and strength touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the lasting memories she created with those closest to her.
Kandyce was called home to eternal rest on May 2, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Johnica Brown (Justin), son, Mario Gillum.
