Joseph Hopkins,Sr

Ocala, Florida – Mr. Joseph Hopkins, Sr, age 99, transition this life to be with his heavenly father on October 28, 2018 at Oakhurst Care & Rehab Center. He was a member of Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Church. Mr. Hopkins served the community as a  produce business owner and farmer for many years.  

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: (A Devoted wife of 64 years) Mrs. Mary Hopkins, (Son) Wayne Hopkins, Sr., (Grandchildren) Wayne (Jabriel) Hopkins, Jr., Temakia(Arron) Epps, Corey J. (Nakia) Smith, (8) Great Grandchildren, (Brother) Moton Hopkins(Algene), Orion (Sue) Hopkins, a host of brother-in laws, sister-in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. 

Life Celebration for Mr. Joseph Hopkins, Sr. will be held 1:00PM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Church, Rev. Patricia Nelson, Pastor. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 08, 2018 from 6:00PM until 7:00PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home.   

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 09, 2018 from 2:00 until 6:30PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home, 127 N.W. 20th Street, Ocala, Fl. 34475. (352) 620-0573.
