EDNA EARLINE GRIMSLEY
Ocala, Fl – Mrs. Edna Earline Grimsley, age 80, transition to be with her heavenly father
peacefully on December 23, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Grimsley was a graduate of Howard High School (Class of 1963). She attended Tuskegee College, transferring to Central Florida Community College and completed the Cosmetology program where she became a licensed cosmetologist. Edna aspired to become a nurse; she continued her education at Sante Fe Community College where she received her LPN Nursing Licensed. Edna retired from the Malcom Randall VA Hospital after serving a tenure of (27) years. Mrs. Grimsley has been a long-life member of New St. John MBC. She also served (28) years as the elect lady at Welcome Stranger MBC.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (a devoted husband) Rev. George Grimsley, Jr of (60) Years, (children) Traci Grimsley, Toronda Grimsley, Kimberly Grimsley,(grandchildren) Jazmine Brown, Ariana Brown, Kaedyn Kinsler, Kelvin Kinsler, (great-grandchildren)Taylor Bennett, Gavin Bracey, Aaron Bracey, Justin Bulter, (sisters) Mary Ashley, Margaret Robinson, Patricia Hines, Retta Lee, Debra Jones,(brothers) Paul Lee, Samuel Lee, Calvin Lee. Preceded in death (Beloved daughter) Kanishia Grimsley.
A life celebration will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, January 03, 2025, at New St. John MBC, Rev. Dr. Tommy L. Brooks, Pastor,
