 DEACONESS DOROTHY  M. VERNON          

Ocala, FL. – Deaconess Dorothy M. Vernon, age 95, transition to be with her heavenly father on January 16, 2019 at her residence. She served as a member of  the Deaconess board at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday School Teacher, Women’s Mission and Choir member.

Cherishing her precious Memories: (Daughters) Lindell McKinzy, Leanore Vernon, Joyce Suggs, Lydia Vernon, Gloria Wooden, (Sons) William Vernon, Kenneth Vernon, Sidney Vernon. (26) grandchildren, (57) great-grandchildren, (8) great-great grandchildren. (God daughter) Kimberly Grimsley. (Sister) Willnette Lawson.

Life Celebration for Deaconess Dorothy Vernon will be held 11:00am on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Tommy L. Brooks, Pastor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home, 127 N.W. 20th Street, Ocala, Florida 34475 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
