Deloris Palmer Obituary

Ms. Delores Samuel Palmer, age 79, was born on November 28, 1945, in Ocala, Florida, to the late Edgar Samuel Sr. and Berthenia Samuel.

Delores received her formal education at the Howard High School in Ocala, Florida, where she graduated with pride. Throughout her life, she worked diligently as a Home Care Aide, dedicating her time and compassion to caring for others.

At an early age, Delores accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Siloam Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member. In her leisure, Delores enjoyed visiting different meat stores in search of the best deals, a pastime that reflected her lively spirit and knack for making the most of every moment.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grand parents, Oscar Myers and Ellen Berry.

Delores leaves to cherish her precious memories her beloved children Janice Palmer, Nabec Palmer, and Latrice Palmer; siblings Yvonne Thomas, Kay Galloway, Jr. Berry, Edgar “David” Samuel, Ronnie Samuel, and William Martin; and a host of cherished grandchildren including Laquanda Lecorn, Sharika Palmer, Deonta Palmer, Jerod Palmer, Lekeisha Palmer, Lasaxon “Pee Wee” Pinellas, Chazel James, Lauryn Palmer, Nyasya Thomas, Avianna Pinellas, Johnarian Turner, Lasaxon Pinellas Jr., Jiyah Palmer, Nadia Palmer, Jerod Palmer Jr., Travonte Palmer, Travontae Palmer, Tr’anac Palmer, Triston Palmer, Treasure Palmer, Abrilla Palmer, I’yanna Booker, Xzhaiva Cook, McKenzie Evans, and Madison Evans. She is also survived by her life partner Hugh Walker along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
