CYNTHIA BRYANT PRINCE
OCALA, FLORIDA -Mrs. Cynthia Bryant Prince, age 76, transitioned to be with her heavenly father on August 16, 2023 at Grace Davis Hall (Hospice of Marion County). Mrs. Prince attended Howard High School, graduating in 1964,( Miami, Florida), NAPBusiness School in Connecticut (1967). Cynthia was employed by Emergency One, serving a 30 year tenure, receiving several awards for her exemplary work ethic. In 1997 she was awarded supervisor of the year from E-One. Cynthia retired from E-One in 2018. Mrs. Prince was a member of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, serving in many capacities. She was an adult Sunday School Teacher, A member of Choir #1, singing songs of Zion, member of Woman’s Mission and enjoyed making care packets for veterans.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (Mother) Catherine Ferguson, Ocala, Florida, (daughter) Shanda Salaam, Cromwell, CT, (sister) Debra Parks-Youman, Quincy, Florida, (grandchildren) Kedeja Salaam, Ahmad Salaam, Malik Salaam, (Cromwell, CT.), (great aunt) Juanita Thompson, Providence, RI, a host of cousins, nephews, sorrowing friends and church family. She was preceded in death by (son-in-law) Yusuf Salaam and (father) Robert Bryant.
A life celebration will be held 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 25, 2023 at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Tommy L. Brooks, Pastor.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Friday, August 25, 2023 at New St. John MBC.
