Cora Lee Johnson was born on February 25, 1944. To the late Cora Lee and Eddie Lee Johnson in Palmetto, Fl. Cora Lee received her formal education in Palmetto Public School in Palmetto, Fl. Cora Lee accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an earlier age. Cora Lee Johnson was united in holy matrimony with Richard McCants. She was employed by Marion Citrus Mental Health Facility as a Dietitian for 25 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching football games with family, fishing and traveling. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (husband) Richard McCants. (daughters) Myrtle Davis, Pandora James (Vince), (son) Sherman Howard, (grandchildren) Shanyse Carr (Byron), Jennifer King, Jarvis Davis, Joseph Dennis, Jr., Shaconta Coy, Nicole Johnson, (god-daughter) Charmaine Anderson, (sisters) Ella Graham, Nettie Martin, (brother) Leroy McKinney, a host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Cora Lee Johnson-McCants departed this life on November 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, (sons) David Johnson, Nathaniel “Nate” Robinson, (grandchild). Gary “Soup” Cooper, Jr.
