A beautiful baby boy, named Darrell Van Sessions was born to Roosevelt Sessions, Sr. and Martha Doris Pearson on August 5, 1960. Darrell grew up to be a giant physically in the family and was the family defender and protecter. Darrell went to Myrtle Beach High School and broke athletic records, but at seventeen enlisted into The U.S. Army after marrying young and the birth of his first child, Little D. Darrell exceled in the Army with three Black Belts in three Martial Arts and became a Sergeant, Special Forces in The United States Army. Darrell was honorably discharged and became a Police Officer, later Detective in The Horry County Police Department of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Darrell met and married Evangelist Nadyne Deannea Lindsay; he was prophesied about his calling to be a Bishop by his Father-in-law, the late great Apostle Bishop Perry, Lindsay Sr. of The Glorious Church of God In Christ,Worldwide. After Apostle Lindsay's death in the year of 2011, Minister Darrell and his wife joined The Friendly Holiness Church under the auspice of Apostle Leroy Newman.

Bishop Elect Sessions leaves to cherish his fond memories his wonderful, loving wife, Pastor Nadyne Deannea Lindsay-Sessions; his children, Darrell Jr. (Ransha) Sessions, Ebony (Dre) Kendrick, Jasmine (Ronnie) Scott, Danielle Lewis, Destani Lewis, Christopher Sessions, Daniel Sessions, and Yvonne Sessions, his brothers Johnnie (Ann) Priestly, Roosevelt Sessions (decease), sister, Cheryl Sessions (Decease), Dennis Sessions, Gregory Sessions and Kenneth Sessions. One niece, raised as a sister, Michelle Sessions. Two brother-in-laws, Elder Stanley Lindsay, I (Lydia), Bishop David Lindsay, Sr. (Enola), three sister-in-laws, Mother Gloristine Lindsay, Evangelist Rita Lindsay Smith and Nadyne's twin sister, Evangelist Natalie Lindsay King. One special Sister-in-law, Cynthia Livingston, One Godmother, Mother Flora Cuttino. (100 years old).
