Ocala, Fl – Mrs. Bessie Mae Reaves, age 89, transition to be with her heavenly father  on June 26, 2022 at her Residence. She attended Fessenden Academy and enjoyed being a Care Giver and Crew Leader.

Bessie was born to Sammie and Pearlie Mae Thomas Brown on October 17, 1932.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (Children) Diane Craft, Peggy Johnson-Hardley,

Carolyn Vernon(Otis), Pauline Williams, Odell Williams(Natalya), Tammy Reaves, Daniel Reaves(Tomeia),

Danny Reaves , (30) grandchildren, (100) great-grandchildren, (15) great-great grandchildren. God daughter Catherine Mankin

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Preceded her in death, By her husband Daniel Reaves (parents), (children) Vernell Bess, Vernon Roberts, Luella West, (Sisters)

Ida Mae Brown, Cora Lee Brown Evans, (brother) Samuel Brown.  

A Life celebration will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 02, 2022 at Progressive Union Baptist Church, Rev. Darryl Redding, Pastor, Eulogist, Rev. Brian K .McIntosh, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 01, 2022 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home. Everyone must wear a face covering.
