Barbara Ann Holmes

Orlando, Florida – Ms. Barbara Ann Holmes, age 76, transitioned to be with her heavenly father on August 21, 2024, at Health Central Hospital, Orlando, Fl. Barbara is a graduate of Howard High School (Class of 1965), She attended Johnson T. Smith College, Charlotte, NC. Barbara received her bachelor’s degree from Barry University in Business Administration. Barbara retired as the Southeastern Human Resource and Benefits Manager, with a 30 year tenure. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Institutional Church in Orlando, Fl.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: (A devoted son) Todd Holmes, (devoted granddaughter) Adasha Holmes, (great grandson) Eason Bacon, (mother) Edith Adams, (brother) Roderick (LaWanda) Kiner, Sr., (sister) Trena (Kenderick)Johnson, (godchildren) Kamiyah Dempsey, Omari Jordan, (bonus daughter) Lisa Grant, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Preceded in death, (sister) Judy J. Hubbard, (brother)Aubrey Mallard, (stepfather) Leon Adams.

A life celebration will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Institutional Church. Ms. Holmes will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, September 01, 2024, at Faith Memorial Gardens, Ocala, Florida.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home, 127 N.W. 20th Street, Ocala, Fl. 34475
