Ocala, Fl- Mr. Alvin McCants, 68, transitioned to be with his heavenly father on February 24, 2023 at Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Alvin was employed by the City of Ocala until he became disabled. He served in the United Stated Navy until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish her precious memories: (A loving wife of 35 years) Jo Ann Mccants, children: Alvin G. McCants, Jr., Tremayne (Eva)McCants, ShawnettaAlexander-Ford, Tawana Boone, Alexis Welcome, Kayla(Terrance)McCants-Johnson, Jasmine McCants, (27) grandchildren, (2) great-grandchildren, Mother-in-law, Janie (Jerome Bellamy, siblings: Rebecca McCants, Martin McCants, Jr., Glenn(Judith)McCants, Cheryl(Don) Wesley, Kenneth Glenn, Fulton(Cathy)Gaten,(5) god-children, god-mother: Johnnie M. Green, a host of in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-siblings and sorrowing friends.

A life celebration will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at House of God Keith Dominion. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until 7:00PM at Hadley-Brown Funeral Home.
