​On Monday, August 7, 2017, Ms. Nancy Mitchell received a call she could not refuse. It was a call from her heavenly Father, welcoming her to her new home. Although she knew her departure would impact many lives, she was ready to accept her crown. Ms. Mitchell loved with her whole heart, and she left a lasting impression on the hearts of those who knew her best.  Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Vicki Holmes; Brett Preston; Michelle Mitchell; and Nicholas Mitchell; her grandchildren, Juantaria Williams, Ciara Williams, Taranto Perry, O’Casio Holmes, Todd Jackson, Jr., Jamaar Holmes, Cisro Pickney, Jr., Nicholas Mitchell, Jr., Sierra Mitchell, and Brandon Mitchell;  her siblings, Simon Mitchell, Jr. (Mamie), Claranell Hudson (Clifford), and Carnell Johnson (Philip); her 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
